Networking

We promote the actions and impact of Civil Society at the local, regional and international level, through different articulation activities. Our main pillars towards the construction of a work culture in the network include collaborative work between CSOs, the promotion of multi sectorality, the incentive towards new participation strategies (collective, democratic and deliberative) and collaboration with traditional and non-traditional actors.

Activities for members of our Network

RACI has exclusive activities for the member organizations of the network, seeking to strengthen the organizations through multi-stakeholder articulation.

Member

Assemblies

The Members’ Assembly is held three times a year and is made up of all RACI member organizations, which make decisions by consensus or by a simple majority of those present. All organizations are equal in voice and vote. Among other things, they seek to approve the institutional lines established by the Executive Committee and the Executive Directors, which are to be followed by RACI, ensuring sustainability and the fulfillment of its mission and vision.

Monthly Member

Meetings

Every first Thursday of each month, RACI organizes exclusive meetings for its members, creating a unique space for networking and promoting dialogue and joint work among CSOs. In addition, different actors linked to sustainable development participate in these meetings to present cooperation opportunities for the social sector.

Visits to member

Organizations

Structured through relaxed meetings, these visits were designed to generate a closer interaction between the RACI work team (staff and volunteers) and the organization that receives us. Month by month we approach the Member Organizations to generate a link, learn about the programs that are currently working, and get to know each other from another perspective, strengthening ties and generating collaboration.

Meetings with

Stakeholders

We are committed to contributing to the construction of a space for dialogue and exchange between different sectors. By seeking to stimulate articulation and the generation of links and information, RACI emphasizes the importance of meeting with stakeholders and representing the needs of the sector. Thus, among other actions, in 2020, within the framework of a series of UN Argentina dialogues, RACI organized a meeting with member organizations with the aim of contributing to the construction of the strategic framework of Cooperation for the Sustainable development of Argentina 2021-2025.

Thematic Groups

At RACI, we are interested in listening to the different voices of our members and responding to the needs that arise from there. In this way, working groups have been formed, where we deal, together, with deepening knowledge on the proposed topics.

Diversities and
Inclusion Group

In 2021, the Diversities and Inclusion Group was inaugurated, with the aim of discussing the different strategies to generate more diverse and inclusive organizations. The group has a co-created work agenda and offers the possibility of sharing good practices in a safe space among members of the Network.

This arose as an initiative of members of the Network and has the objective of talking about the different possible strategies in relation to the administration and finances of the organizations. Structured around bimonthly meetings and with a collectively co-created agenda, the network administrators set out to share good practices, strategies, and tools to be able to act in the best way before an unprecedented scenario.

Activities to Strengthen the sector

Dialogue

Tables

We organize and co-organize spaces for dialogue, focusing on promoting a multisectoral exchange, where all actors are participants in relevant discussions for Civil Society. In this way, we propose that the solutions and policies to be carried out be agreed together and have a holistic perspective.

Networking

Culture

At RACI, we seek to promote the culture of networking, since we are convinced that it is the best way to enhance our actions and strengthen ourselves. For this reason, through belonging to different networks, such as AGNA, CIVICUS, IAVE, Innovation for Change, and Networked Civil Society and Accountability, we carry out articulation actions within the framework of the different initiatives that are conceived in each one, both nationally, regionally, and globally.
