Who We Are
We are a network of Civil Society Organizations working to transform the country and the region.
About RACI
The Argentine Network for International Cooperation (RACI) is a federation made up of more than 280 Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) from across the country, working to strengthen the sector, promote international cooperation, and create fairer and more sustainable conditions for collective development.
With more than 20 years of experience, the Network has been recognized for its leadership at the local and international levels. In 2016, it was declared of Social Interest by the Legislature of the City of Buenos Aires, and in 2018 it served as co-chair of the Civil 20 (C20), the civil society affinity group of the G20. In 2023, it obtained consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC, strengthening its global advocacy. In 2025, RACI launched “Reimagining the Future of Civil Society,” a Global South program that promotes new narratives, alliances, and sustainability models in the face of declining cooperation and the closing of civic space.
Mission
Contribute to the social transformation of Argentina through the creation of a space for interinstitutional exchange and dialogue that includes all actors and stakeholders linked to sustainable development.
Vision
An independent, sustainable civil society with the capacity to influence public policies and drive participatory social transformation—articulated, democratic, transparent, diverse, and plural.
Our Team
Executive Committee
RACI’s Executive Committee is made up of seven Executive Directors from organizations that are members of the Network. Candidates for the position must self-nominate and are elected by vote at the Members’ Assembly.
The term of office is two years, with the possibility of re-election for up to one consecutive term, and the aim is for the Committee to be composed of seven members who reflect the Network’s thematic, geographic, and organizational size diversity.
The Committee’s role is to contribute to the implementation of the annual action plan approved by the Members’ Assembly, as well as to develop political actions in line with the Network’s medium- and long-term strategy.
We are strongly committed to transparency, accountability, and continuous learning and progress. That is why we are open to being contacted through the comments button whenever you have questions or concerns about the work and activities of our Network.
Likewise, RACI is committed to fostering a work and exchange environment in which all individuals are treated with respect, dignity, and fairness. To this end, we provide the incident reporting button to ensure this goal is met and to offer an environment that promotes positive working relationships for everyone.
At RACI, we are convinced that these feedback processes are essential to strengthening transparency, improving the quality of our work, and consolidating relationships with the various stakeholders involved. Accordingly, we invite you to use both spaces we provide with the seriousness and responsibility they deserve; at RACI, we commit to ensuring that everything received will be handled with strict confidentiality and respect.
