On May Affinity Group of National Associations (AGNA) carried on a process of selection of his new Board of Directors which will be on function from July 1st 2017 to June 30th 2018. During the recruitment process Guillermo Correa –Executive Director of RACI- was nominated as a candidate and selected to be part of the Board again.
Every year full-right members of AGNA vote to elect nine people as Board of Directors, two in representation of Latin America and the Caribbean; two representing Africa; two representatives for Asia; one in representation of Middle East and Northern Africa; one representing Europe and one for the Pacific region.
Guillermo Correa along with Diana Vegas Castro – representing Sinergia Organization from Venezuela- were elected to represent Latin America and the Caribbean by AGNA members. Their task will be to coordinate the activities of the network which aims to strengthen the joint work of national networks and Civil Society worldwide.
