With the aim of making the projects of all the social organizations of Argentina visible and contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Objectives, RACI launched the SDG Platform.

SDG Platform is a virtual space created in partnership with Cablevision Fibertel, which, in turn, has the institutional support of the United Nations in Argentina. The tool aims to become a window of opportunity mainly for the Third Sector, since it allows any CSO in the country to upload the projects in which they are working and classify them according to the SDG they are contributing, their geographical location, type of organization which is executing them, and the specific community they are working for.

This is how it becomes a reliable source of information for the public, private and academic sectors, because through different data filters, it allows organizing and cross-referencing information according to the needs of the user.

In July 2017, SDG Platform was presented in the National Voluntary Review that Argentina presented at the High Level Political Forum at the UN in New York. This Forum reviewed partial implementations carried out in the countries that volunteered to show the work done by the government, civil society, the private sector and the Academy for the implementation of the new development agenda at the national, provincial and local levels, following the premise of “leave no one behind”.

The development and use of the tool allows to generate a space of exchange and dialogue between all the actors and agents linked to the Cooperation for Development.

How to register?
In order to upload the projects in the SDG Platform, it is necessary to register and create a user. To do this, you must enter the following link: https://plataforma-ods.org/. There you must choose the option “Agrega tu organización”.

Once you have entered, you must first complete the data of the person who is in charge of loading the projects of the organization on the web. At the end of the registration process, click on the “Registrarse” button.

To finalize the registration, the user must be confirmed by entering a link that will reach the email box of the person who registers.

IMPORTANT: You cannot load projects on the platform until RACI does not authorize the registered user.

To upload projects
To proceed with the project loading it is necessary to enter again the link: https://plataforma-ods.org/ but now you must choose the option “Ingresar.”

Once in your organization profile, you can choose from the following options:
• Proyectos: In this section, all the projects of the organization can be uploaded. There will also be a list of all loaded projects and a short summary that includes the name, the start and end date of the project, the population that is affected and the location of the country where it is being carried out. In addition, there will be an option to delete or edit projects as needed.
• Mi organización: You will have the contact information of the organization which was loaded during the registration. In this section, you can edit data as needed.
• Salir: With this option, the organization can end its session on the platform.

As explained, to proceed with the loading of projects, the corresponding option (“Proyectos”) must be selected. Once this is done, click on the “+” sign in the upper right corner.

Then, there will be a list of requirements where you will be asked for information about the project to be loaded. When loading the start or end date of the project, you will have the option of indicating as date the day on which the load is carried out. It is important to know that more than one option can be selected in the “Poblaciones afectadas” and “Objetivos de Desarrollo Sostenible” classifications.

Once the load is completed, click “Guardar cambios”. After it has been authorized, the project will be uploaded to the platform.
Finally, once the project load is completed, click “Salir” to prevent the platform from being left open, causing thus an inconvenience.
